About the Authors

Linan Shi Linan Shi, an English professor/advanced translator from China, is co-author of English Pronunciation for Chinese Speakers, one of the editorial board of A New English – Chinese Abbreviate Dictionary and has a contributing paper in Translators Techniques. Linan acted as an advanced translator while accompanying leaders of the Chinese Government and Entrepreneurs in their travels to investigate and negotiate import-export business. Linan is currently a teacher of English as a second language in Toronto. He is an advanced translatorator at the Translation Bureau of Canada. He is also an advanced translator at the Multi-lingual Community Interpreter Services Ontario and at the Toronto District School Board. 

Shasha ShiShasha Shi is the author of English Pronunciation for Chinese Speakers and presenter at the TESL Conference Ontario Canada in 2010. Shasha has rich experience in teaching English pronunciation, grammar, listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translating. She is aware of the challenges ESL students encounter in their English studies. Most of the contents of this book are from her teaching lesson plans.
