Author: Yagoub Saed Al-Nour ISBN: 978-0-9780431-5-4 Synopsis
Banned in 2008 by the Sudanese authorities, Saed Al-Nour’s latest novel Desirable Glance is an exceptional portrayal of events. The plot takes in a far away place; yet it can be anywhere for those who can see themselves in his characters. Nour Al-Din, our hero, is struggling to make sense of unimaginable circumstances that befell his country under its current political drama.
